Founded in Gilbert, Ariz., with just a handful of employees, today PCT maintains sales, logistics and manufacturing operations in 10 countries and has more than 1,000 valued employees. The jewel of PCT’s infrastructure is its wholly-owned manufacturing plant in mainland China, purchased in 2000. Traditionally, most CATV product suppliers “private label” goods imported from Asia. PCT perfected this model by buying its own factory to gain better control over engineering, manufacturing, quality control and cost. Ultimately, this is most beneficial to PCT’s ever-growing client base, which includes the world’s largest telecommunication service providers.
APiCA is PCT’s solution for the home and commercial networking markets. APiCA will take the lead in developing innovative products necessary to meet the requirements of 21st century homes and commercial businesses. APiCA also manufactures wire, coax, and a host of other networking products.
APiCA network products, coupled with PCT’s strong line of RF and fiber optic products, provides the
best alternative for companies implementing pre-wiring in homes and business. As more and more smart services are offered inside the home, it is necessary for manufacturers to continue being on the cutting edge of technological innovation and this is where APiCA and PCT fit in.

APiCA is a newly developed division to accommodate the growing needs of the residential and commercial structured wiring and networking markets. PCT has concentrated on better ways to distribute triple-play services to residences and places of business for nearly a decade. It is now leveraging its experience and manufacturing base to develop better solutions for distributing those services inside the home or business.
PCT’s more recent introduction is GTC, based in Shanghai, China. Everyone is aware of the incredible opportunities of sourcing products in Asia. But most find that it is easier said than done. Typically, small companies do not have the resources to obtain credit facilities to buy most products, let alone the ability move these products efficiently out of China. PCT has spent the last eight years developing such a network of relationships for its own purposes and is now marketing itself as a consultancy company to help other small companies take advantage of everything that is promised by doing business in China.
PCT is organized into separate and distinct sales silos. There are four sales silos, seen below, established to represent the four major geographies of PCT’s global sales and logistics operations.

Each silo maintains its own sales force, inventory, and sales support. PCT recognized early the need to customize its products and sales approach to different markets around the world. Accommodating customer’s time zones, language and cultural differences has been critical in the development of a truly global company.
