The Company

PCT International, Inc. was privately founded in 1997 with one goal in mind:

To become the worldwide leader in broadband connectivity and transmission products.

And that's exactly what we've done. PCT was built on, and continues to be built upon, the key tenet of producing the highest quality products for the lowest possible price. PCT has led the CATV industry in a number of areas by emphasizing on innovation and development of a vast manufacturing and logistics operation in Asia.

PCT was first to:

Gain acceptance for a best-in-class, digital splitter to better enable two-way communication over coaxial cable.

Introduce a “mini-fiber node” for deep fiber HFC applications.

Revolutionize compression connector design by introducing the DRS series compression connector, an all-metal, one-piece design

PCT has become a market leader in each product segment it has explored in the past eight years. It continues to do so with two new initiatives designed to tackle commercial services over optics and the home/commercial structured wiring market.

Sales, Logistics, and Manufacturing

Founded in Gilbert, Arizona., with just a handful of employees, today PCT maintains sales, logistics and manufacturing operations in 10 countries and has more than 1,000 valued employees. PCT’s infrastructure includes two wholly-owned manufacturing plants in mainland China responsible for the production of drop products and subscriber cable. Traditionally, most CATV product suppliers “private label” goods imported from Asia. PCT perfected this model by buying its own factory to gain better control over engineering, manufacturing, quality control and cost. Ultimately, this is most beneficial to PCT’s ever-growing client base, which includes the world’s largest telecommunication service providers.

PCT is organized into separate and distinct sales silos. There are four sales silos, established to represent the four major geographies of PCT’s global sales and logistics operations.

Each silo maintains its own sales force, inventory, and sales support. PCT recognized early the need to customize its products and sales approach to different markets around the world. Accommodating customer’s time zones, language and cultural differences has been critical in the development of a truly global company.

PCT is also organized into four major product divisions (see table below). The company produces a wide product portfolio including CATV passive and actives, coaxial connectors, coaxial cable, HFC and Ethernet optics, terrestrial, and structured cable products.
