The PCT-Chassis-II is a versatile chassis platform with advanced in-band monitoring and management functions. Its space efficient design houses 17 modules consisting of 1 management module and 16 media converter modules in a highly compact 2RU 19” rack space. Dual power supplies and the ability to configure modules as redundant pairs provide network robustness.

Management of media converters is flexible, allowing for RS232, telnet, web browser, and SNMP management for both managing local and remote modules through in-band management. Support of a wide variety of modules such as Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet and redundant switches as well as the variety of modules that make use of CWDM and DWDM wavelengths makes this the most versatile metro access network provisioning platform.
