PCT’s Doug MacLeod to Receive SCTE Award at Cable-Tec Expo 2016

Doug MacLeod, PCT’s Director of Technical Services, will be honored by the SCTE as a recipient of the 2016 Excellence in Learning and Development Award in Philadelphia during next month’s Cable-Tec Expo.

The SCTE Excellence in Learning and Development Award recognizes the achievements of learning and development professionals within the cable telecommunications community who have demonstrated significant success toward advancing the careers of others through the innovative use of cable telecommunications technology-centric curricula learning programs and/or presenting content in a way that improves the cable knowledge in the industry.

MacLeod will be honored during the 2016 SCTE Annual Membership Meeting in Philadelphia on September 26th and will also be featured in the Cable-Tec Expo Program Guide.

MacLeod is a Senior Member of SCTE and has been a member for over 35 years, is Vice Chairman of Working Group 1 (Actives) of the Interface Practices Subcommittee (IPS), has been active in IPS for 15 years, has participated in SCTE standards development, and has held several positions in local SCTE chapters. He always makes himself available to provide training and education for worldwide customers, SCTE chapters and internal training.
